As a family-oriented chicken restaurant and beloved fast food spot, Church's Texas Chicken offers a flavorful journey into the comforting world of crispy fried chicken and hearty sides that feel like a genuine home-cooked meal.

The menu dazzles with tempting options designed to satisfy all appetites. Dive into their Big Deal Boxes, such as the 2PC Leg & Thigh or the 3PC Tenders served with two classic sides, their iconic scratchmade HoneyButter Biscuit™, and a zesty jalapeño pepper that adds just the right kick. For seafood lovers, the Shrimp Big Deal Box offers 8 pieces of crispy classic shrimp paired with cocktail sauce, while the Surf & Turf Big Deal Box combines succulent shrimp with tender chicken pieces—offering a delightful surf-and-turf experience you wouldn’t expect at a quick-service outlet.

Individual meals provide great flexibility, with options like 2, 3, or 4 pieces of chicken served alongside classic sides such as mashed potatoes smothered in rich, savory gravy, perfectly crisp crinkle-cut fries, and creamy, tangy coleslaw. Each plate arrives with a warm, flaky HoneyButter Biscuit™—a signature treat that brings the perfect buttery sweetness to every bite.

The dining atmosphere at Church’s Texas Chicken strikes the perfect balance between casual and welcoming. The service here earns high marks too, with customers frequently praising the politeness and attentiveness of the staff, especially the standout employees who go above and beyond to ensure a flawless experience.

From loyal locals like Jessie, who appreciates the reliably excellent food and courteous service, to Harold R, who found an ideal alternative to other chains with faster service and hotter chicken, Church’s Texas Chicken impresses with consistency and genuine hospitality. Jesus A Escalante’s praise for the teamwork and communication at the drive-thru window reflects a smoothly run operation, while Tammie Murphy can’t help but marvel at the lovingly prepared side dishes, noting the macaroni and cheese tastes like it was made from scratch at home.

Regular visitor Ray Jackson sums it up best: the staff’s friendly demeanor and precise, fresh orders keep him coming back. The warmth of the team creates an experience that feels distinctly personal, elevating this fast food favorite to more than just a meal stop—it’s a local gem in Fort Worth.

If you’re in the mood for fast, flavorful chicken paired with genuinely welcoming service, Church’s Texas Chicken offers a satisfying solution that celebrates Southern tradition with every bite.

The food is always great, I've literally never had a complaint about the food here. It sometimes takes a while to be attended if you're on foot, but the service is always polite (at least with the Hispanic lady or the Manager).

Was looking for an alternative to the local Popeyes long waits, cold food and incorrect orders. The spicy chicken was hot and service was quick.

I forget they're a chain because the food is so amazing. They've become my new fast food favorite because the staff is always friendly, service is fast & my chicken is always piping hot. Last week I honestly couldn't believe the macaroni was from Church's because it was so good like someone cooked it with love lol.

I love coming here! The young ladies that work the evening shift are so nice! My order is always fresh and most important, CORRECT! They need a raise! Or allowed to be tipped!

100% hot, fresh Church’s I’ve come to expect. Perfectly pickled jalapeños (they date each cup!). Always friendly. Reheats great in microwave but convection oven crisps it better.

Best around. I enjoyed my meal, and most of all the employee at the window. She was wonderful taking my order and handling my food. I highly recommend this store! It is a little tricky getting around the building though...

Fried chicken is one of the very few reasons I am willing to exercise. So when I feel like I have burned enough calories to deserve a treat, I turn to Churches. Everything is always perfect at this location. Its has always been clean on the few occassions I didn't use the drive through. The service is fast and friendly. I am serious about service and they're good people doing it right here. The food is always fresh and they will be open and honest with whatever you need to understand about your order. If you want something and the person in front of you just cleaned them out they will tell you honestly, so YOU can decide if you want to wait on cooking times or change your order to stay on schedule. The spicy version of their fried chicken is incredable and saves me a lot of money. Everyone knows about the chicken tenders, and I agree thay are very good but overpriced. The tenders are the reason most people think of Churches as expensive but if you avoid them you are going to get a great meal for a really reasonable price. Finally always double the biscuit order and ask for extra honey and never miss an opportunity to try the jalapeno poppers, or their fried okra which are all excellent and as good a reason to stop here as I could give. And that's saying something because I'm serious about it. food * service * price * dependable * and convenient business done well and run well, always excell. 5 stars damn well means something to me
